Whether you are a private individual, a student, an SME or a multinational in need of the translation of a document from English or German into French, you are in the right place. TRADUCTECH will meet all your expectations!
With a background of sound education and schooling in translation-terminology [Institut supérieur d'Interprétariat et de Traduction (ISIT), Paris, France], including thirty years of experience with international organisations, I am specialised in the translation of written contents from English and German into French, my native language.
With regard to any specific or urgent order, please send me details of your request for a precise quotation via my email address: traductech12@gmail.com. As a reminder, translation and interpretation are two different fields, the first dealing with written communication while the second type is focused on spoken communication. My area is written translation/proof reading only.
Translation and/or proof reading of all types of documents: project factsheets, media coverage, web sites, programmes, leaflets, brochures, reports, university theses, training manuals, conference proceedings and more…
A wide range of fields includes: science and technology (environment, energy), political science, social science and humanities (literature, history, ethnology, ethnography), marketing, gender issues, digital literacy, fine arts and the history of art…
Before providing a client with any translation, TRADUCTECH ensures a complete revision of the text concerned: spelling, grammar, punctuation, vocabulary, subject related jargon, style, and typography [AFNOR norms – National Library of France (BNF)]
FORMAT: TRADUCTECH uses SDL TRADOS STUDIO 2017 software. You may send me a document in any format: Excel, PDF, PowerPoint, Word (.doc) or (.docx) and much more: rest assured that TRADUCTECH will deliver you the target text in the required format, including as a SDL XLIFF Document (.sdlxliff).
TERMINOLOGY: CAT tools/SDL TRADOS STUDIO offer access to huge international databases. You can also send me in-house glossaries and databases: I will comply with the required terminology. This does not prevent me from doing an in-depth internet search to check on the right term!
Needless to say that the quality of an assignment requires reasonable deadlines. However, in the case of an unexpected increase in the workload, TRADUCTECH can be ready to address the situation. I translate at a rate of 1,500 to 2,000 words per day on average from English/German into my native language, French. Did you say urgent? TRADUCTECH takes the meaning even further.
